How to Get Rid of Pimples Fast, But Naturally

Pimples are a common nuisance to many people around the world, and they can strike anyone from teens to adults, and both men and women. Some groups are more susceptible, however, especially teenagers going through puberty as their hormones are going haywire.

When pimples are not hormone-related, there is a common misconception that they are a problem by themselves, when in fact, pimples are just a symptom of poor hygiene or skin care. So the specific treatment of pimples is a bit strange, as this aims to treat a symptom rather than cure the problem that is causing the pimples in the first place.

So, rather than take drugs that are designed to target the pimples, and in doing so cause strain on the body in other ways without really treating the problem, you should take preventative measures and natural treatments to beat acne and pimples. This can be done by changing your diet so that you eliminate junk foods and eat more healthy, and also by improving your hygiene standards by washing your face throughout the day and showering at least once a day.

Junk food like chocolate and sugary things like soft-drink are known to cause pimples, and are unhealthy in other ways aside from their acne causing abilities. Dairy products, such as milk and cheese, are also not good pimples, so if you have severe acne you should stop consuming these products.

Showering in the evenings is the most ideal time to wash the body as this will keep your body and the bed clean so that you are not sleeping in dirt and sweat that will cause pimples. Washing your face throughout the day, especially after strenuous exercise, or when sweating, is also important. When you get hot your pores are opened up more, so sweat and dirt are more easily able to cause pimples. This is why you should wash your face after exercise.

If you follow these simple measures of improving your diet and your cleanliness, you should be able to reduce or completely get rid of pimples that affect you in a fast and natural way.

Why You Might Become a Victim of a Vicious Acne Attack After You Hit 30

Acne, always the mysterious skin condition occurring for no apparent rhyme or reason, often strikes back after you cross 30 and think that the days of your hiding your pimple-covered face are far over. Although much rarer than teenage acne, adult acne can attack all of a sudden. Not only is it an embarrassing skin disorder, it can wreck havoc with your social life if you are unfortunate enough to suffer from a terribly vicious attack. Although no concrete, individual cause for acne has been established, some of the reasons why your acne can reappear after 30 years of age are:

1. In women, pregnancy is one of the major cause for the recurrence of acne in later age. It has also been observed that many women tend to suffer from acne during their menstrual periods. This is largely because of the hormonal changes that accompany these events.

2. Adults usually are on far more medications that teenagers or young people below 30. These medications often have side effects because of their strong chemical composition that can throw your hormones in disarray. Anabolic steroids, lithium, ant-tuberculosis drugs, anti-epileptic drugs, etc. are often the causes of acne in adults.

3. Stress. Again, adults are usually under far more stress than children, managing their family, social life and work. If you are constantly under stress, there is a good chance you will develop acne and other skin conditions.

4. Metabolic changes that occur with adulthood. As you reach adulthood, your metabolism tends to slow down and the hormonal conditions in your body alter along with it. This is particularly true if you have a sedentary job and are not physically active. These metabolism changes and the accompanying changes in your hormonal balance can cause a recurrence of acne.

How to Prevent Acne Through Proper Diet

To be honest, there are so many ways you can prevent acne from happening in the first place. Some people choose medications to control their acne outbreaks while others use natural remedies which are not only safer but also inexpensive. Regardless, there is no one single way of stopping acne that will work for everyone but it is generally agreed that your general well-being and your diet have something to do with your acne problems.

According to recent research, it is found that people who are suffering from acne problems do not drink sufficient amount of water everyday. Drinking plenty of water is very important because it not only helps hydrate your body and skin but also washes away all the toxins in your body which are usually the main cause of most acne problems. Foods which are high in calories such as red meat and oily foods should be avoided because they are generally not good for your health.

You should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables because they are not only a good source of fibre and vitamins but also beneficial for your skin. Try keeping track of the type of food you eat everyday and you will notice that certain types of food will cause you more acne outbreaks than others. Some people find that avoiding dairy products such as milk and cheese have helped them significantly in controlling their acne outbreaks.

Stress can also cause acne problems because stress is generally unhealthy and it puts your body in a state of tension. There are many ways you can reduce stress and it's all a matter of preferences. Some people find that gardening not only help them relax but also bring them joy and other benefits such as fresh vegetables. However, you should never do something that will affect your health such as drinking alcohols or smoking just to release your stress.

Acne Free in 3 Days - Two Quick Tips to Get Clear Skin Fast

Anyone who is currently struggling with the constant battle of acne and thinks that nothing works then listen up because I have some news for you. I know that it may seem impossible to get clear skin because like you I wasted hundreds of dollars on treatments that do not work but it is because we are not being told the whole truth about getting clear skin.

There are so many acne myths out there that is easy to get lost in the this information so here are some quick tips that I used when getting rid of acne:

1. If you are suffering from acne sunlight is very important to your skin however too much is going to irritate your acne. As you most likely already know acne is very easily irritated and the sunlights rays are very powerful and this is one of the reasons why people suffer with acne. Every single day you should apply an oil free spf 15 sunscreen to your face as this will help to protect your acne so it can heal in the day.

2. Diet is very important to acne how ever people tend to believe that greasy foods will cause acne how ever this is not the case. It is actually some of the healthier foods that can cause acne as they contain hormones in them that can regulate extra sebum synthesis which is the main substance involved in acne formation. These foods are dairy products and bananas and you are most likely eating them daily so limiting these foods may help your acne significantly.

How to Avoid Acne Breakouts

During adolescence, a lot of us experience acne breakouts at one time or another. Well, what is acne in the first place? It is a dermatological problem that may consist of pimples and cysts that normally can be seen on the face. It usually clears up in many people in time especially during the late teen years and early adulthood. However, not everyone enjoys the same fate. Some have serious acne problems even during adulthood. And this is really a bad problem for those who suffer from it because it affects their self-image plus the fact that having acne and accidentally scratching it hurts!

Acne is caused by multiple factors and when combined will surely cause major outbreaks of pimples which we do not want. During puberty, our body undergoes hormone production change. The body produces more androgen and in turn would affect the oil glands beneath the skin. The oil glands produce more oil which reacts with bacteria. And as we would expect, the bad end result is having blackheads, pimples and cysts. This is not only limited to the face. If you are like some people, you may also have pimples on your neck, body and back.

Since no one in their right mind would love having pimples, we got to find a way to stop those nasty pimple breakouts. Let us look at some of those methods which have been employed by people around the world.

Avoid popping pimples. Yes, a lot of people would advise you to not pop your pimples and for good reason too. If you do not know how to pop your pimple correctly, then better not pop it. If you do so, it would cause you more harm than good. However, if you know how to do so properly and at the correct timing, then by all means do so. You can find a lot of websites in the internet which will teach you the proper techniques.

Have a proper diet. Yes, diet plays a major role in preventing pimples breakouts. If you take in multivitamins, it would ensure that your skin gets all the nutrients it needs to make your skin healthy and thus prevent overproducing of oil. You also have to avoid food that you have proven to be the cause of pimple breakouts. No one person is similar to another. So the cause of pimple breakout in one will not be the same with another person. So, do some experiments to determine what foods cause you pimples and then avoid those foods.

Wash your face regularly. This is the most obvious of techniques in preventing pimple breakouts. By washing your face, you keep it clean and help unclog pores and clear up oil blockages. However, beware of over-washing your face because this is also not good. It will dry out your skin and signal your oil glands to produce more oil. To alleviate this problem, use mild face soap that is not too strong but is enough to keep your face smooth and clean. Or if you really need some serious "firepower", you can employ the use of face washes that are specifically designed to help combat pimples and acne.

Some also try using some prescription methods by the doctor or dermatologists. This can either be external (creams) or internal (pills) and choosing one wisely would depend on the professional advice given to you.

Whatever path you take, just keep in mind that acne is cause by multiple factors such as hormones, environment and diet. You can't control hormonal changes but you can control your environment (to a certain extent) and your diet.

The Cause of Pimples and How to Treat Them

There is a special occasion just around the corner and pimples appear. This is more than annoying, you want to look your best and this happens. The cause of pimples and the cause of acne are actually very similar, which could mean, that the treatment for pimples may be along the same line as the one for acne.
Usually acne occurs in a certain time frame, usually around the time of adolescence (of course there are exceptions to the rules), while pimples, with the right triggers, can occur anytime and that is the difference between the two.

The main cause of pimples is very often a combination of bacteria being there and dead skin cells, which accumulate in the pores. Bacteria is actually living on our skin and the problem starts when the bacteria finds its way into the pores and they get infected. The infection can show up through red lumps or bumps and it doesn't necessarily stops there because these could produce pus. Another cause of pimples can be poor hygiene and an accumulation of dead skin cells due to sebum. If you don't clean your skin properly it can cause pimples because it allows an accumulation of sebum, dead skin cells and dirt. Alternatively, there needs to be a balance, because if you wash your skin too much it can cause more production of sebum and that can aggravate pimples. If you wash your skin twice a day it will be enough to control the production of sebum. It is quite important to avoid touching your face because that can also help to reduce your skin to be exposed to dirt and dust.

If your immune system goes through any changes, because your defenses are lower, which will make you more susceptible to an infection, it could be a cause of pimples. And then let's not forget, here's the word 'STRESS' or hormonal changes those can be huge factors for the cause of pimples. Your health and wellness can actually be hampered through stress. If you want stress relieve you probably need some determination because this is certainly not easy. But it can be done. Consider taking up meditation.

In particular if you are a women you will notice that you usually get some pimples just before you get your period and that's were the hormonal change comes in, which is the cause of pimples. Those pimples usually disappear in a few days and this cause of pimples is easy to manage. It's still annoying and if you are affected by those kind of pimples try and keep you skin extra clean and sebum free just before your period.

These are the most common causes of pimples and their treatments are the easiest.

10 Natural and Effective Ways to Acne Free Skin - Part 1

This is part 1 of a 2 part series of articles for Natural Acne solutions. Acne solutions can be found everywhere, but do they really work? Are you one of the many who suffers from acne and looking for solutions that really work? There is definitely good news. Regardless of whether you are a teenager or adult struggling with acne, you don't have to anymore.

I am about to show you the first 5 of the 10 natural and very easy and effective ways to ditch your acne problem. You will find the other 5 in my next article that will be posted by the time you finish reading this article.

1.       I know this is hard but, don't pick at, squeeze or even touch your pimples. This will cause an increase in sebum (a fatty secretion of the sebaceous glands.) production and cause membrane rupture below the surface of your skin.

This will then cause infections and sebum, which is oily, to spread beneath your skin. This causes more infection and eventually more pimples.  You also risk greater chances of leaving scars.

2.       Clean skin is less prone to the affects of bacteria. It is important to wash your face twice a day. Be sure to use a mild soup that won't dry your skin.  Even better to use sulfur-based soap to help fight against acne. For oily skin, you might want to use a soap containing benzoyl peroxide.

Be gentle on your skin. Using abrasive sponges, brushes, or any other abrasive scrubbers on your face is not good. You will irritate your skin and spread the infections. Also, over-washing your face will actually stimulate your sebaceous glands to produce more sebum, thus making your skin more oily which will attract dirt and increase your acne.

3.      Food allergies can cause serious acne conditions. Most doctors will tell you there is no connection; however, there has been studies done recently that say otherwise.

In general you should avoid oily and spicy foods. Also, recent studies indicate that milk contains hormones that can cause acne and should be avoided. Next certain seafood high in iodine should also be avoided, and finally you should avoid foods with sugar, deep-fried food, meats, nuts, butters, etc.

I do not recommend becoming a vegetarian. Unless you have extreme acne, I would just cut back on these foods. These are the foods that are known to cause the allergic reactions that cause acne. Foods that are good are green vegetables; vegetable juices and foods with zinc.  These can help relieve the acne conditions.

4.       One thing that many people tend to forget to do is drink plenty of water every day.  It has been recommended that we drink eight glasses of water a day. This can help keep acne away.  This is because water carries waste material from the body and therefore, helps heal and prevent acne break-outs.

5.       If you absolutely must wear makeup, make sure it is water based. Water based makeup tends to not clog as much and you don't have to use oils to clean it from your face. It is actually better if you don't wear makeup at all.  Many makeup products can clog your pores and cause more blackheads and pimples. Be sure to wash your face before you go to sleep and also clean your makeup brushes regularly.

Acne Treatments - An External Cause of Acne?

Spots, pimples, scars, blackheads, whiteheads are common complaints of a teenager. Acne is a universal problem that has haunted all of us at some point of time in our lives. Acne happens when oil or sebaceous glands come to life around puberty, stimulated by male hormones from the adrenal glands of both boys and girls. Sebum is a natural substance which lubricates and protects the skin, and under certain circumstances, cells that are close to the surface block the openings of sebaceous glands and cause a buildup of oil underneath. This oil stimulates bacteria which live on everyone's skin and generally cause no problems, to multiply and cause surrounding tissues to become inflamed which gradually becomes a pimple.

Hormones are one of the main causes of acne. Besides hormones, there are some other factors that can cause acne. Food, pollutants, stress are the top reasons. Although there is no substantial evidence to prove this, we have been brought up being told by our elders that any form of junk food can lead to acne. Many suggest that we should avoid pizza, chocolates, greasy and fried foods, milk and dairy products, these findings are far from established. Dirt and other pollutants are also known to cause pimple. Stress, according to many can lead to acne as they believe that it causes hormonal imbalance in the body. However, experts say that there is no direct link.

Non-water based, oily cosmetics are also known to cause acne as they can clog the pores that result in the inflammation of the skin resulting in a pimple. Pressure, drugs and occupations are some lesser known causes in occasional patients. Pressure refers to both mental and physical pressure. Mental pressure can be due to work or personal issues. Physical pressure refers to pressure from helmets, chinstraps, collars, suspenders, and the like that can aggravate acne. Drugs and exposure to industrial products are other causes of pimples.

With all these factors we have to encounter in life, it seems impossible to avoid getting some kind of acne at some moment. This is also why it is difficult to find the perfect acne treatment for an individual. And considering everyone's skin is different, how one's skin can tolerate or react to a specific treatment is never a general rule. Plus treatments should be different for normal, oily or dry skin. It becomes important to fight acne from all ways possible, but not at the price of harming your health. An external treatment should cleanse, treat and repair your skin but be gentle enough so you don't get any form of irritation. Also, a dietary acne supplement should be included to your skin care routine as it deals with the hormonal changes that lead to acne.
